I found you by accident when I was first researching web design and hosting prior to the launch of my website. I had no experience but knew that I didn’t have the financial backing to pay someone to produce a website for me. Friends advised that I use Front Page to design my site and the two deciding factors for choosing your company were price and support of Front Page scripts.
My site has changed a lot since then, I no longer use Front Page (happily!) and currently use Soho Admin and a template to work the back end of my site. I have been using Oceania for web hosting for over seven (7) years and recently I moved my domain to Oceania as well. Oceania has changed names over the years, which I found a bit confusing, but I did the same to my clients some years ago.
I moved my domain to Oceania to simplify matters and most importantly because I am very happy with the service that Oceania gives me. When you call the hotline, if your call does not get answered straight away, you will hear a rather bizarre message asking you to please hold and that your call will be taken by a "real person". The first time I heard that, I thought it was some kind of a joke. I soon realized that the "real person" that takes your call is real in every way. He/she listens, understands your issue and works on addressing it in a very friendly and professional manner.
I remember I had some problem once that could not be resolved straight away. The gentleman I was speaking to said to me that he will call me back when he worked it out. I thought fat chance, he was brushing me off I thought, but he did call back.
Every time I called, there was no waiting, no push button menu, no out sourced technicians with poor communication skills, nothing but good, prompt and friendly service.
When I recently moved over the domain, Lydia and I were corresponding on almost daily basis to resolve a matter with my previous domain company. Lydia and I got to "know" each other and call each other by name.
Oceania might be a small company and this is why it is able to provide this personalized service, but in my dictionary, courtesy and proper service are not a matter of size only. My previous domain company was a small one, but as arrogant as arrogant can be. I have been asked to "help" with a testimonial, but Warne did not have to twist my arm. I am glad to oblige.

| My site www.sportydogs.com.au was launched in 2003 and it was hosted by an American company. I thought that that was the way hosting was done. This was difficult because of time and language differences. It was more costly, both for the hosting fee and calls to the US. I was told that my customer base would still be mainly Australia but this wasn't so. This also cause difficulties. In 2007 apphosting, as it was then, was recommended to me. What a relief. I can now call at a time convenient to me if I need to. Lydia is always so helpful and I don't have problems with communication. My client base is mostly Australian and I find the hosting of my website much less stressful. Thank you Oceania. |

The software provided for shopping carts is fantastic, simple to use and easy to understand.Whenever i ring i get a real person to speak to who is always helpful. Do you want a web hosting provider or an excellent web hosting provider right here in OZ? If you said yes then read on as you will be impressed as I am. I wanted a web hosting company that was in Australia as I didn't want to send money over seas, I found AAhosting and called them I spoke with a gentleman named Warne he was very patient with me as I was very green (and still am), Warne explained the service that they provided so I decided to ditch my old web hosting provider of 5 plus years which offer very little or no back up service and create a whole new web site, name and image, for an amateur this was scary. Since that day I haven't looked back. With excellent service provided I have been a loyal customer of AAPhosting now Oceania Business Solutions for almost 5 years. Warne and Lidia are two very friendly and helpful people I have found they listen to you and help solve your problems which for me is excellent as I am a hobbyist with a passion for my collection of pedal cars that has expanded to my web site I don't have the big dollars to have someone build and maintain my web site I do it myself and occasionally I do something wrong, when this has occurred I have contacted Warne or Lidia and they have guided and helped me to fix the solution and this is what service is about, not just being there to provide a hosting point but also having the ability to give back up service to their clients thanks guy's, keep on web hosting.

Oceania Business Solutions (Formerly Web Hosting Solutions) has been our service provider and domain name provider for six years or more.

We have been with Oceania (Web Hosting Solutions) since July 2006 on the recommendation of a friend. There were slightly cheaper options available elsewhere but we have not regretted our decision to go to Oceania.
As an amateur webmaster I found the set up procedures easy to follow and the tools available on the website do not require an I.T degree to navigate. The odd time I have had to telephone for support they were able to explain things at the level of my knowledge which was very much appreciated.
I have only been aware of one down time and that was fixed very quickly.
As a community non-profit organisation I believe we are getting value for money, and excellent and reliable service.
